There are two things you can hire for when you hire a minion.

  • Experience: How much does that person know about the specific task you want them to do
  • Athleticism: How generally clever is that person? Can you put them on anything?

Which one is more important? It depends on your organisational structure. Specialists are great at what they do, but not so good at teamwork. Generalists are the opposite. Choose the one that's best for you.
